Supervisor: Captain of Detectives Dave Mills
The Detective Division conducts investigations for crimes committed
against people and property within Tazewell County. It includes a
specialized unit for crimes against children. At any given time each
detective is investigating at least 30 open cases. The detectives have
specialized training in such areas as Hostage Negotiation, Forensic
Evidence – handling and collecting, Police Instruction, and more.
