If you wish to make a complaint about the actions of a deputy or about
any aspect of deputy operations, please:
1.) Make your complaint in writing, print format whether handwritten or
typed, and address the letter to the Sheriff.
2.) Make sure to include your name, physical address, and a phone
number, so that you may be contacted if need be.
3.)Mail the letter to the Sheriff’s Office at:

The Sheriff or his designee will
handle the complaint in a reasonable and timely manner.
Your complaint will be investigated and you may be contacted and asked
additional questions about your complaint or asked to come into the
office for a meeting.
If it is going to take a long time to investigate your complaint, a
letter telling you approximately when you may expect a reply will notify
you.
When your complaint has been investigated, the Sheriff will review the
investigation and will write you a letter explaining what has been
determined regarding the matter.
