Civil
Process
The Civil Process Server is responsible for serving all civil papers in
an assigned area. Server is also responsible for a timely service of all
assigned civil process papers.
These papers originate from court systems in our County's Jurisdiction,
other Jurisdictions, and in certain instances other States.
During the serving of process the Deputy is responsible for answering
call, investigations, patrol, and any other duty as required by the
Tazewell County Sheriff's Office.
1000-1500 Civil Papers on average are served by the Tazewell County
Sheriff Office a month.
